TRIBUTES have been paid to Miles Knox, a well-known Scunthorpe publican for many years.
Father-of-three Mr Knox died at home and his funeral service was held at South Shields Crematorium.
With him when he passed away was June Fenwick, to whom he was engaged.
Mr Knox came to Scunthorpe in 1988 as manager of the former Henry Afrikas nightclub and became the first licensee in the town to introduce ID cards.
