Tributes have been paid to a former teacher at Baysgarth School who died earlier this week.
It is believed Jane Disbrey, who was known as Jane Dyer when she taught in Barton, died on Tuesday.
Mrs Disbrey, who was in her 50s, went on to become the headteacher of Havelok School in Grimsby.
She held that post until she left in 2006, and took up the role of headteacher at Malet Lambert School in Hull, where she remained in the post up until her death.
